The article examines the problem of the formation and approval of the concept of "economic border" in order to bring the international community to a common opinion, focusing on the legal and financial aspects of inter-country relations. The authors establish a high activity of the search query for the phrase economic borders in the international search platform over the past 5 years. The influence of eco-
nomic zones on international political and economic diplomacy is determined. The article presents the results of an analysis of the success of the development of special economic zones in China, Mongolia, North Korea, Japan and South Korea, as well as new initiatives and projects of these countries in the implementation of the economic and humanitarian agenda of the SCO and BRICS. The methods of search query
analysis, infographics, methods of analogy and historical retrospect were used in this study.
